Do you suffer from any of these pain symptoms:

  • Headache, Migraine
  • Neck and shoulder pain, decreased range of motion
  • Tingling or numbness sensation to arm or hands
  • Low back and hip pain
  • Tingling, pain or weakness to leg or feet
  • Previous injuries that are now limiting your movement
  • Bone spurs, herniated disc, scoliosis, or spine degeneration

If YES, what actions have you taken?

  1. Did you go to a masseur, a chiropractor, an acupuncturist, or a doctor?
  2. Did you take steroid injections, painkillers, or rub heat oil or cream?
  3. Did you go for physiotherapy on and off?

A never-ending pain story?
If you answered yes to any of the above, chances are you might be feeling frustrated because the pain seems never-ending or that you thought would never really fully-recovered. You might feel good for a while after massages, however the pain comes back a few days later. You might have your back adjusted, but somehow the pain still comes back because you do not have the muscle balance to keep the joints in place.
And most probably, your doctors might have told you to stop all activities and you feel down and depressed from avoiding your favorite sports.

Don’t accept the pain

What if I told you that we could eliminate these pains without resorting to expensive treatments or surgeries?

Many of you might think that living with pain is part of life? Wrong.
If you correct the root cause of the problem, you will also correct the total body! And that’s the aim of corrective exercise.
If you don’t solve the pain or injury at that particular area of your body, it will create compensation and muscle imbalance in other parts, leading to even more problems. This is scientifically called a ‘cumulative injury cycle’!
Have you wondered why your low back pain also comes in a package of shoulder and neck pain? That’s because our body is an interconnected structure – what happens in one area affects the others.

How you move matters

Beginners, athletes, weekend gym warrior – everyone benefits from looking into their own posture from the ground up and train the corrective exercise way to prevent pain and injuries.

And no, you don’t need to stop moving just because you are injured. You just have to train to address your postural imbalances that are unique to your own body, and not just following what everyone else is doing at the gym.

Knowing and identifying how you use your body biomechanically and neuromuscularly is the first step towards creating a program that will enhance your functionality and overall performance. And this is achieved through a series of Static Postural and Dynamic Movement assessments in Corrective Exercise.
